Vintage Bench Seat, upholstered in Antique Rug

Here we have  something completely different, a combination of vintage
​industrial seating with mixed media to turn this mundane object into a bizarre interior, decorative sculptural function piece of furniture.  

Using an old antique Persian rug, I recovered this old vintage bench seat as an experiment, to see if its possible to use interesting fabrics to restore furniture like this.  The result was this rather interesting amalgamation of two very different items.
