An impressive rare two-tire Anglo-Indian glazed Dresser/ Chiffonier cabinet.
Raj Period. India, mid 1800s - 1940s.
Solid Teak hardwood throughout, with original brass hardware.

Design/ origin-
Identified as Anglo-Indian from the Raj period (attributed only).
Hand-made & carved solid piece of period furniture. Layers of patina and age throughout making it unmistakably the early part of the Raj period.
The cabinet comes in two parts (see picture) it is very solid and heavy weighted.
Featuring lots of original hard-ware; brass hinges, door locks etc. However other parts have been replaced. Unsure if the glass is original.
The cabinet features a large top split-pediment with carved geometric shapes.
There are the remnants of painted detail on each door.
Condition-
Oiled and waxed recently. Leaving all the old patina, marks, scratches and paint splashes of it's long life. All doors function but with wobbly hinges.
Cabinet has non-original ball feet.
There are old repairs and sections of missing timber & holes throughout.
