An excellent example of the famous 'Siesta lounge chair' by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, Norway c,1970s. Pair of vintage armchairs in rare unique pink/ tan leather with Beech plywood.

Design/ origin- Elegant, sweeping bent plywood formed chair design. Makes for a durable and comfortable seat. Highly recognisable design and very sort after among furniture enthusiasts and interior designers.
Chairs are totally original and are in exceptional condition. Sling constructed seat which is intricately woven through the plywood frame. Original light pink/ tan leather upholstery, making these a unique and rare example.
Condition- These chairs have been taken apart completely, cleaned up and re-assembled. Restored frames, using natural oil finish. Recently leather conditioned. Canvas seats have been washed and are in great condition. Some wear to the front of the leather, see pictures. Beech frames with age and some discolouration, other marks and old scratches can be seen. Unfortunately the makers label fell off and was lost.
