Antique Jarrah hardwood & iron construction.

Design/ origin- Three generations of history. Melbourne made, designed & restored. Made from a slab of Jarrah timber, salvaged from Melbourne's old Dock no.14 in Port Melbourne. C,1887-1892.
The Jarrah slab was later transformed as a decorative interior piece of Post-Modern furniture in 1994. The table features all of the characteristics of it's age and life. With proud nail holes running directly through to the other-side.
Construction iron rods form the legs, fabricated as a crude bridge between nature and industry. Completing the look of Post-modern design.
Condition- Fully restored top. Osmo hard wax finished. With some discolouration/ rust to the legs.
