This chair is also know as 'The World's Most Comfortable Chair'. Designed to work along side the GF10 range winged larger armchair (James Bond villain chair). Also known as the 6250 Easy chair. This model came with a few base options. Offered here is the four star swivel base made from high quality Rosewood hardwood timber. Designed for G-Plan in 1964 by furniture designer Paul Conti, who designed the entire range of these magnificent chairs. Large rolling scroll like arms, protruding deep box cushion seat and then the signature diamond buttoned back.
This is a beautiful angular chair, great as a statement piece in the middle of the room. Extremely comfortable.
Easy to move place to place, carefully balanced on castors for ease of rotation, also with a 360 sideways tilt.
Fully restored. Pristine condition. Professionally reupholstered in a striking woollen green fabric choice. Rosewood timber restored, with a few repairs made. Base finely finished with brass capped headed bolts.
