We have an 'in-house' restoration service at Edwin Fox Furniture that is comprehensive and competent in many aspects of restoration.
Our specialty is Mid Century furniture restoration including Danish, Australian, retro & modern.

Furniture restoration service

What we offer- Timber restoration- including dining tables; veneer and solid construction. Using high quality natural oil and hard wax products for re-finishing. These products are safe for the home and have a lovely natural / modern finish. (Not shiny nor French polished). 
Upholstery service- large & small. Dining chairs, armchairs & sofas (vintage & mid century) 
Repairs / small tasks- Broken or loose timber joints. Upholstery seat webbing and seat lining replaced without the need to do a full restoration. Split / ripped cushions.

Bespoke service- We can work out a restoration quote, to suite your budget

All of the above are subject to time availability. There has been a recent demand for restoration, therefore all requested tasks may not be accepted.

Fully restored leather armchair by George Mulhauser for Plycraft, USA c,1960.
This intensive restoration project included fully reupholstery in tan leather, fully restored plywood seat frame using natural hard-wax oils, and a fully re-chromed based with new caps ends.
Needless to say, the chair recieved our fully attention.
